The digital system developed by Viaboxx for bicycle parking facilities had its innovation certified by the Certification Office Research Allowance (Bescheinigungsstelle Forschungzulage – BSFZ).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innovation was proven through an evaluation which concluded that “there is not yet a comparable solution that can be operated on any hardware platform, with any configuration of bicycle parking systems, either online or offline”. This evaluation was based on the novelty, risk\/unpredictability, and planning criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viaboxx digital bicycle parking system was conceived to contribute to technological solutions promoting more sustainable mobility in urban spaces. The user-centered software allows digital control and operation of more secure and publicly available bike parking facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About BSFZ<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of a strategy to stimulate research and development activities, especially in small and medium-sized companies, the German government provides fiscal subsidies for research in the form of Research Allowance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung), BSFZ<\/a> is the body certifying whether an R&D project is eligible for funding in accordance with the provisions of the Research Allowance Act (Forschungszulagengesetz – FZulG).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
