Research projects presented at new Centre for Industrial Intelligence

Magdeburg is now the proud location of a new centre for research and application of artificial intelligence (AI) called Centre for Industrial Intelligence (CII). Under this name, scientific institutions and companies in Central Germany will work together on research and development of AI methods and algorithms meant for specific use in the industry. Our current research partners, the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OvGU) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation (IFF), are also involved.

The centre has been inaugurated on the 23rd of May. The event was moderated by Prof. Seiffert and included various presentations from business, science, and politics. One of our partners from IFF had the opportunity to present our current research projects: Multisensor and Track4Goods – more info here.
