As part of the course Object Oriented Software Construction (OOSC), we (Jan Nonnen, Simon Tiffert) gave a talk at the Uni Bonn. Based on our projects in the logistics industry, we discussed important aspects of software development that go beyond what university teaches you.

I fear the slides will convey only a little bit of all the experiences that you shared with us 🙂 It is very helpful for the students to get a first impression of how the “real thing” might be different and how the learned topics might be helpful. What I liked especially is that both of you made it very clear that it is possible to be at the same time very productive at work and to enjoy it as well.
